| | Wow.
This is a good idea. I was sticking some non-Nudie pics in the Nudie thread because I was too chicken to start my own, but now you've already done it. Yay! |

| | Yea, this was necessary. There was a japanese denim evolution thread a few pages back, but I think this is even more applicable. Let's try and keep this on the top.
skidknee, you don't need me to tell you how amazing those are. Fantastic!

The indigo is very rich and deep... but the fading is unlike any of the other denim out there... you can see the vertical fading is very prominent and it adds an interesting texture to the pattern of indigo throughout the wear.
It's an unsanforized raw 14.5 oz denim that's stiff as a board... and shrinks a lot after the first soak. I sized up one and it's stretched back out nicely as you can see. |

Thanks! | I started with a cold soak for 2 hours when I first purchased them. Subsequently soaked them two more times in the next 3 months, air dry of course. After about the 6th month, I began washing them in the machine, cold/cold, and throwing them in the dryer on permanent press setting. I just washed it when I needed to. |

| | | Thanks, guys. I was asking because in my house up at school, there is a bathtub in a downstairs bathroom that I never use but that other girls use...only showers upstairs where I live. So I wouldn't want to piss people off by soaking my jeans in their bathtub. Maybe I'll soak 'em here before I leave back to school. |
