Wow, I didn't know RL made raw jeans. That's some major fading there! Nice.

No offense man, but I don't believe for a second that those jeans are/were dry.

The fade looks tacky and thoroughly manufactured, the fade lines look bleached and treated. The honeycombs are practically perfectly symmetrical. Not only does it look like a prewash, but a relatively ugly one.

If by some incredibly slim chance they were dry, what the hell did you do to them?

I agree with you. If that is the first time they were washed they are extremely light. The fading looks manufactured.

Do you have any before washing pics? Were they really dark?

I know that RL does make dry Selvedge denim but I have my doubts about that pair.

Well its possible they were dry. Sounds like you got them wet a few times so I guess that could contribute to the major loss of indigo. I am just not sure though. If they were dry you did a hell of a number on them because they look like something you would buy prewashed in the store (and thats a compliment!)

Lol, I guess my standards are a little too high then, but I am absolutely sure that those creases are factory treated and bleached out chemically. It doesn't look remotely like a pair of broken drys would after 9 months.

If by "pissed off" you mean "ripped off", then I'm sorry.

well that tag does say don't wash for 90 days. Ah its really hard to say for sure though. Everything does look really uniform.

Yeah, I think you may have gotten ripped off, they really don't look dry. That wash, even though there is honeycombing and such, is usually what it would look like after being chemically treated.
Sorry!

Raw denim is super dark and even if you have worn those for two years, I doubt that they would be that light and thin.
