Iron army newbie question

Hi! not sure if this is the right section to post this, but i was looking to buy a pair of iron armys but the only womens jeans they have on the online store have a rinse or wash finish... what's the difference? i was hoping to get a raw pair but none were up

Also sizing-wise i'm a size 27 in TR jeans, so should i go for the same size in Iron army jeans? (taking into account shrinkage and then stretch factor...)

TIA

Hey. They actually do not make raw denim in women cuts, but the men's cuts are pretty slim and very low rise (for men at around 8 inches) so women actually might look good in that.

If you are looking for a more raw like pair, go for the rinse or go for another brand. The rinse can be broken in like a raw pair, but it will take a lot more effort. Even the raw pairs are difficult to break in, but the streakiness of the indigo is already nice imo.

As for shrinkage, I don't think you will get too much since they are sanfornized. I am not too sure how women's sizing goes, but I would email them and ask for measurements of the waist for the 26-28s. The mens jeans tend to run a size small compared to other brands. My pair has stretched probably 1-2 inches around (.5-1inch across), but the material it is composed of (20% elasterol) tends to tighten it up after you take them off.
