Help me find my next pair of raw jeans.

Hey all,
My last pair of dry jeans just started to rip, and now I'm keeping my eye out for a new pair.

The main problem for me when looking for jeans is the fact that I am a male and I have a small waist size of 26.

My first pair of dry denim what thin finn in size 27, and they were a bit tight for me. I then bought two pairs of Diesel Turbo Denim in the tepphar cut, size 26, and I fell in love with them. The cut is perfect, they fit me like a glove, and I couldn't be happier with how they faded. However they are made with really thin denim, and thus break with about 4-5 months of normal wear.

I am looking for somthing a little bit more raw and quality. Obviously japanese denim, and specifically I was looking at flatheads. I have been broswing around but it is a little hard to see how fits compare to jeans I wear. And finally I believe the smallest size they make is 28, and I am afraid they will be too big when I get them.

My ultimate pair of jeans would be somthing in my size 26 (or equivalent after streching/shrinking), made of thick denim, good indigo dye, selvedge, and fit similar to diesel tepphar or thanaz.

Can anyone help me out?

The waist size may be an issue. Have you looked into Naked and Famous jeans in Skinny Guy cut? They are a Canadian company but use Japanese denim. Their denim weight range anywhere from 5oz. - 32 oz. denim.

Im really afraid of the waist stretching too much :[

Do they have N&F jeans at any local stores so I would be able to try on a pair?

Check out Blue in Green for raw denim. I don't think you should step a notch down from nudies, but go up instead.

They stock higher quality, heavier raw denim.

I wouldn't say that N&F is a step down from Nudie. Infact, I think it's the other way around.

I have looked at all your suggestions, but I keep going back to these and falling in love!
SE05BSP - Slim Tapered - $360.00 : Self Edge : Japanese Selvedge Denim

Is there anywhere else besides selfedge I can find flatheads that is a reliable seller? I'm hoping for a bigger selection...

Im in Santa Barbara.

Have you checked the store at dry bones or real japan blues, I am sure they will be having a 26 fit for you.
