Best looking raws I think I've ever seen

Just saw these on Superfuture. If someone made a prewash this good, I'd probably drop $500 for them.

I think this was a pair of Ironhearts after only 9 months of wear. Absolutely incredible...

Or buy some Ironhearts and give it a go yourself? Most of the stuff is around 21oz so I would imagine they wear pretty well. But that guy has some really incredible wear for such a short time.

That's some really intense wearing for 9 months, especially are Iron Hearts which are supposed to be very durable and somewhat slow to fade.

I'm not sure I like it though, it seems too artificial (the whiskering and honeycombing are quite rough) - I may be wrong, but this amount of damage to a pair of Iron Hearts in 9 months, seems like the owner was out specifically to tear these jeans up (which I don't agree with, but to each their own).

^over on superfuture they said the owner does construction or something plus skates ... If that is his what he does daily then the jeans reflect his life just fine. If he decided to get out and be more active to beat the shit out of the jeans nothing wrong with that either. There isn't really any right or wrong on how you wear your jeans. In fact I think if the jeans got him out of the house doing that much activity just to trash the jeans then good for him. Better than sitting on his ass all day with 9 months and not much wear.

^ I was going to say they probably did construction in those things to get them like that. Good way to put some hard wear and tear on your denim. I would much rather be out hiking around but as a student and am cursed with spending most of my time indoors. I can't imagine how skating in jeans would be comfortable but I guess it offers a little protection if you fall.

^^ As I said, to each their own.

My thinking is for construction, I would personally wear the protective clothing designed for it (poly mix, or even kevlar reinforced fabrics), rather than a pair of $400+ Iron Heart jeans, which I don't consider as workwear - it's a luxury item by my own standards.

And yes, I don't think altering your lifestyle to suit the denim and your SuFu rep is the way to go.
Blue-trip = denim changes with you, not you changing for the denim.

You guys think PRPS would be the best jeans to get similar fades? Why not just do Ironhearts? I guess it would take a little more than 9 months for the average person since this guy was doing hard physical labor in them full time.

you should definitely get some iron hearts. They are great. Have not broken in a pair myself but the over all quality is very impressive. I will probably try a pair of those next time I decide to buy some raws.

Yeah, that's not a bad idea. The only problem is that I have 10 pairs or so of washed denim that I cycle through really consistently and I hate to have to wear the same pair like 5 times a week for a year to get good results. We'll see though; if I really like how my turbodenims turn out, I'll have to try some Ironhearts and just wear them on a few 20 mile trail runs to get some quick wear into them. Is 21 ounce probably the best way to go to get the best fades?

yes get 21 oz and try running 20ft to start! The trick to rotating is to sell your washed denim and buy raw denim with the money.

JUst forget about your washed denim. Put it in a drawer somewhere and let it be. Love my raws so much mroe tha nany of my other pairs I think I have about 20 pairs of washed denim just sitting in a drawer with only 3 or 4 pairs that see wear once in a while. I don't know if I would guage your feelings toward raw denim off turbodenim............ You're probably not going to want to run in 21oz denim ;) I wouldn't even want to run in 16/19oz denim. I have running shorts+tights for that.

nah, I don't know anything about dry denim, don't listen to me lol
I just thought it looked like a wash PRPS had released before.

...maybe there's a better pic for comparison... i don't know

If that person can do it with Ironhearts you should be able to as well. Wear it at all time, do whatever, try some exotic sex positions!
