Evisu jeans check

Well, I was at the coffee shop with my friends after thanksgiving dinner walk and I was talking about this site and how helpful it is...And right there a friend asked me to post a check for him...
I compared them with my Evisu and since I only have one pair, I couldnt tell...
here are the pix:

ps: he got them while studying in Barcelona a couple of years ago, they where from a roomate he had...

the camera makes them look crooked

He washes them a lot and the camera doesnt show the actual red drawings, the leather feels good...

by the way, he washes them every time he uses them and they are aging prretty good, pix dont do them justice but in real life they look great (Great quality in case they are knock offs lol)

He washes them regularly and the denim is still heavy and stiff!

Well, let me know guys! I want to get ones like this in case they are real, this ones are 31 and i am 34, any idea what would be the closest model to this one in the market?
thanks again!

The distressing on this pair looks all wrong though.
The honeycombing at the back of the knees are obviously artificial.
The whiskering on the thigh looks artificial as well, not to mention copied off women's vintage fades (the top fade lines go way too close to the crotch).

Tell your friend that even if these are real, they are not a very good pair of Evisu's (IMO, of course).
Get something from Evisu Japan's no.1 or no.2 line of denim.

like I said, he washes them and I dont think they were faded, this is the natural progression cause by overwashing them lol...
They are an awesome pair, thats no doubt, the iphone camera dont do them justice...I will go with real too when compared to mines and according to the forums "how to spot fake evisu" advice...
thanks again!

^ Dude, your friend's Evisu were very obviously not broken in naturally - if you've seen many faded or properly worn pairs, you'd know what I'm talking about.

Have a look at the honeycombing again (espcially the ridiculous one on the left leg), the large number and symmetry (not to mention odd placement) of the whisker lines on the thighs, the fact that the paint, hardware and stitchings are still so fresh compared to the denim?

No not every single evisu are selvedge. The ones from EU edition does not have selvedge.

But yea now if i looked a little closer the jeans does look fake. Leather patch looks very bad. I don't know why i never noticed this when i first looked but the size tag should look linger than that and fonts more sharp. Also all Evisu Genes have selvedge.

dude like ranchu said the wash is artificial here are some photos of natural creasing. my raw evisus with 11.5 months of wear (literally every day) the honey combs are high due to me being short and having the inseam stacked

see the difference compared to your friends
