Evisu Jeans Authenticity

Hey guys,

I've recently become obsessed with Evisu jeans, love the way they look and appear to fit. I have a couple of questions regarding some for sale in my local craigslist.

Do these 10 images appear to be fake or authentic, He is trying to sell these for $100 each, and I'm very wary hes another guy buying similar ripoffs from China for pennies. Any insight is highly appreciated.

One more question is about the fit of Evisu, I have a hard time finding jeans because usually the legs are too narrow and the waist is too big. In a regular 34 the waist is always fine but the butt or thighs is usually too tight. Evisu looks pretty baggy/relaxed in those areas. Any tips? Thanks!

Cheers,

Kyle

I will email him now asking for close up pics of the tag and of the seam on the inside of the hem, so we can see if they are selvedge! thanks for your opinion!

apparently he wasent with them at the time but he sent me a tag pic,

to me this looks clearly counterfeit because of the crooked stitch lines.

If you're after some really nice Evisu jeans in the US, I recommend hitting up Blue in Green Soho - Gordon and his staff will surely take care of your denim needs

I'm surprised that anyone is selling fake Evisus here in the US, to be honest. Nobody seems to really wear them or like them. A local outlet around here has been selling a bunch of Evisus lately and absolutely nobody bought any. They ended up dropping them to 90% off their original clearance price of $60 and I bought about 10 pairs on an additional 30% off sale, so I got 10 pairs of authentic Evisus for $40 total. None of them were particularly great looking jeans, but still, if they're dropping to $4 a pair, there's no market for them.

The only nice evisus are the simple gulls pocket design.
