not sure ... but even if they were I am going to say in this case you are going to get what you pay for. 6 months - 1 year for subpar fades. I can't imagine the denim quality is that great either.

H&M is comparable to uniqlo basic/. Although it may be raw, the jeans don't take easily to fading, except in the wash. Its better to get levis stf. I guess if you want a beater pair of dark denim, and they are on sale, you can buy. If full price, it's better to get levis 501 stf if you want contrast fades.

Well its not my jeans but my brother bought them for around 40 dollars because of their $10 off denim promotion thing. Ill take pics if you guys want to see what they look like?

yeah seeing them might help. Not sure if we can tell from the pics though. Don't you have a pair of nudies? How does the denim feel compared to them? Is there any indigo loss when you rub some water on the fabric? - on the inside of the waistband or hem is a good place to test this

yeah I would guess those are "raw" or 1 wash. They will fade over time but to what end IDK.
