Interesting.

Can't say I'm real crazy about the name...that and their whole "legalized dealers" shtick is a little bit on the eye-roll-y side.

Not crazy about the back-pocket selvage thing that they're doing on a couple of their pairs (on the website)...the patch really isn't my thing either.

BUT...those are nit-picks for the most part...personal taste. How's the pair feel? Bout 60 dollars for a pair of those, eh? Is that how much you dropped on 'em? Interesting to see an entry level brand with a few different "non-standard" fabric choices...pretty cool.

Hope the APCs work out for you. Seems like you're having a difficult finding the pair. I wouldn't set foot near those jeans at the top based on name a tag alone. Wouldn't matter how awesome people said they were.

tell me about it. If the APCs don't work out, I will try Naked & Famous. If that doesn't work out then I will just have to suck it up and go for the expensive stuff. I actually really like Real Japan Blues 106BSP's but they are $320. Yowza!

the PBJ 005's are bad ass too! So are Eternal 811's. I've seen some of the best fades ever from the two and they are mid $200's, that's a little better!

(only $225 for the one wash eternals!)

Might as well save up and buy one great pair - better then trying to upgrade.
I'd recommend Eternal 811 or a pair of Flat Heads to start you off - great denim, great construction, elegant simplicity. Or for a bit more flare, try a pair of Sugar Cane's or Samurai Jeans.

Here are my latest pick-ups, also posted on mynudie.

Aika 'Jin' jean
LVC 1967 505
Edwin Vintage Collection 506
Enishi 'Yoshi' jean

I don't understand what one-wash even means. And they only have size 29 and size 40 in the 811's right now at BiG.

I really like Flatheads too but they are over $300

Yeah...I'm not feeling those so much. Maybe it's because I'm not a back buckle fan.
