at 160 pounds, I never considered myself overweight (out of shape - yes, but not overweight) until I joined some forums and posted pics of me in jeans and now everyone calls me a fat ass, lol

I spoke to a guy who does a proxy from Japan and can get me 3001's for $260.

There is a guy on Sufu that is selling a pair of lightly used F380s though. He is asking for a price that is much too high especially considering he had them hemmed quite short. But I am short so the hem would work perfectly for me. They are size 33s though. Do any of you have any experience with Flatheads. Do you think I would fit? I am wearing 33 Nudie Slim Jims now.

I think buying second hand would be risky, unless you're buying from an experienced hobbyist. Why don't you contact the shops that sell Flat Heads directly, like e2nd, and save money on proxy (they can speak English, or you could use translation software like free ones offered by Google and Microsoft)? FH tends to be true to size, but you can ask the shops to measure a pair for you!

I don't know how to use those translators. When I go to Rakuten it translates automatically for me but I can't figure it out for other sites

Actually, I think I just figured it out

Actually, I am still struggling, lol. I can translate the website except for the shopping cart so I have no idea what to do once I am there. bleh

info@e2nd.net

email them and translate your request using the first program that comes up when you google "Japanese to English translator". Include what you want, size, where you want it shipped, and ask for a total. Then they'll just send you a paypal invoice when you want to buy and you'll likely get them within a week. They might give you a discount on shipping (+always ask to be marked as a gift!) and most likely throw in some cool free stuff too.

I'd include your email in english and japanese. go to Google Translate and click "show romanization" and it'll be close enough. they're pretty smart over there! and deal with a lot of people ordering overseas.

I have decided I just can't spend $250 on a pair of jeans right now. I am going to make an offer for those vintage blue weird guys, hopefully I can get them for $100. Then in a few weeks, Epaulets is releasing a new version of their Smith jeans with contrast stitching as well as a new cut called Hoyt. I will order both and see which one fits best and then start a journal. There are already plenty of Flathead journals so I will be the first EP's journal.

If any of you guys are rich and wanna buy me some Flatheads though, that would be cool, especially since tomorrow is my birthday

we'll see how my 19oz 710's are in the summer though, gonna be toasty!
