| | | First dry jeans recommend? Im looking into getting some dry jeans and well dont know where to start....I was thinking some nudies...but i dont know for sure.....
One more question.....all those techniques used to break in jeans and make them fade at the creases only (honeycombs, at thighs, etc)...will they work on jeans that already have a wash....cuz i have some TR's (obviously not dry).....and well i wanna know if i can add honeycomb fading by wearin them alot, sprayin em down with starch daily and well washing/soaking them eventually.....
above all....what jeans should i start with...haha... |

| | | As far as washed denim, you won't be able to get honeycombs...
I suggest either APC or nudie is its your first pair. APC's especially fade really quickly...

| | | if you have a really dark pair of denim that is a one rinse like the 88Z wash from diesel. You can get some good fading going. However it will take a long time and will not compare to the kind of fading you get from dry denim. |

| | | Hey I'm new to this forum. This is the first I've heard of dry denim for the most part. I'm going through the posts here but I'm not finding too much in the way of techniques and how-to type guides. Could someone point me out to a resource or two on some ideas on the best way to do this? I'm totally interested but I'm concerned with learning the different brands and what is what. Also questions like how do you wear jeans without washing them and dealing with stretching. I wear my jeans 1-2 weeks as it is but eventually I HAVE to wash them because they've just gotten way too big by 2-3 weeks.
OK enough jabbering. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys. |

| | | I'd go with Nudie since they have many cuts and are relatively easy to get. |

| | | Thanks a bunch treasurehoard. After spending about 5 hours reading there and here I'm seeing how it works and how fun you can have with this.
I think I want to try a pair but am still searching for how they're going to fit. I prefer a low-rise (10.5") but I like a loose cut to give the boys some room. Bottom isn't as important to me as having some room upstairs so straight or boot is cool with me.
That said, I know that the tighter these things are the more they'll whisker if I've read correctly. I also know I'm going to have to suffer in the groin for a bit cuz I know these things are going to stretch a lot.
So, I'm a true 32. What jean and cut would you all recommend? Thanks mucho for the help. |
