shrinking already shrunk jeans?!!

hello all im new to this forum, so i thought i would start as i mean to go on, so heres an odd post for you,
ages ago i bought a pair of levis 1933 501xx jeans and just recently tryed to shrink them (wearing them in the bath) have also put them through the wash a couple of times, but they have not shrunk down enouph, is there anything i can do to shrink them further??? if so how would i go about doing so.

p.s. i know you will probably hate me for putting my jeans anywhere near water but these ones are meant to be worn for work, and will be washed regularly anyway.

p.p.s. thank you all in advance for any help you may be able to offer.

Actually, I've read an article somewhere that washing them in the load with hot water works very well because its the hot water AND the "jeans-hitting-the-sides-of-the-washer" action that causes them to shrink. I don't know how it works, but it has shrunk most of my jeans with the help of a tailor taking them in at the waist a bit. Good luck!
