Is this actually raw denim or does it just have the look of it?

I think they are one rinse or something like that. Similar to TR's rinse wash.

I got all excited over these too, but then found out they were not really raw. I'm pretty sure you could wear them like raw, I do with my rinse TR's (and they are coming along fantastically)

yep, they are not raw, and they're also not stiff like raw denim. tr does have raw though, and they're SUPER ULTRA stiff and they stretch like a mofo (i'm talking inches here in the waist).

on the otherhand, g-star's raw is pretty soft in comparison to all the other raw washes i've felt with other brands. :|
