how do denimbirds fit? i herd they strech. but do they run small or true to size?

Denimbirds will stretch out. I bought a size 26 in the dry straight stretch, and for R&R and TR's I'm usually a 24 or 25( they run small ), So I would say that the birds are pretty true to size.

Also, once you decide to wash them I'm told that they will shrink up to 3%.

They run small, at least the dry bootcut stretch do. I bought a 26 and the waist was actually 26" on them. THey don't stretch a TON, either, unlike nudies.

so if i bought a size 30 it would fit like a 28/29?

Probably, but the best way to decide if they will fit is to try some on.

I have two pairs of rigids, both run really small in the waist.
