Take measurements of your RRs (or w/e fit you good), and compare them to those listed at BiG or SE. Get something AT LEAST the same measurements. I'd say go for a little smaller if you can.

I haven't seen any fakes yet but who knows ... better not to assume anything in this market. Something could pop up at any time.

I've seen a couple fakes on eBay. Rare, but a couple.

Good question, I am looking for the same!

Maybe they can work as dressy/semi-formal dress pants.

These look pretty nice for black drys:

Compliments to roirio from mynudies. Their circulation is starting to become more prevalent.

Planning on washing my jeans in for the first time.

Going to use washer machine.

What's the process like? Can I just wash it like any other denim? Inside out, cold wash.

Yes. Best to use a gentler soap than normal detergent (e.g. one without phosphates).

Please pardon my ignorance, I just discovered this portion of AF and never heard of dry denim until now. Of course I have to have a pair now . I just wanted to make sure I purchased a pair of true dry denim jeans and not one that refers to the wash being raw. They are the James Jeans James Slim Boot in Bristol from revolveclothing.com. It stated that they were dry denim, but I just want to make sure. Thanks in advance!

i'm fairly sure those are prewash. there is fading on the thighs and butt. plus, it shows color as bristol and also comes in carlyle.

Does this mean I can't wear them in to show fading? So I can pretty much was them as soon as I get them?

most denim will fade w/wear, but prewash are just that so will not get the same effects. you might wait for other opinions. but mine is that they are prewash and yeah, you can wash them when you get them.

Air dry or machine dry?

Whichever you prefer. Air dry will make them stiffer, and a machine dry will make them softer. The dryer will also shrink them a bit more.

So stiffer would be more creasing/fading.

But i kind of want them to shrink a little for a better fit as they have stretched out. More so, I do not want the inseam to shrink... hard choice.
