when you get strong hunger pains

...does your body really need food? I can't decide if it's just because I'm still awake. I'm pretty sure I ate enough today.

are you sure it's not gastric pains from eating irregular meals?

I don't think it's a hunger pang if you're actually eating.

Sometimes when we think we're hungry, we're actually thirsty. This is especially true if you're not drinking enough water. (Discovered this when I stopped drinking sodas.) Try drinking some water, and if that doesn't help, have a small snack.

i agree with rocklymber. try drinking some water because many people confuse hunger pangs with thirst. (Most people do not drink even close to the amount of water that they should) I have been drinking lots of water for the past few months now and i have started to be able to tell a difference btw thirst and hunger where i used to just think it was always hunger talking.

I don't think it's thirst, I drink water like crazy because I retain water really easily and it makes me look puffy =P the small snack helped, though.

With me, I usually need water. If water doesn't do the trick, I eat something that is filling, like an apple.

hunger is your brain telling your body that it has a low blood sugar so you need to eat something.

I try not get to a point where I feel hungry. I eat or drink something every 1 to 2 hours. My energy level is much more stable throughout the day.

I usually drink green tea to cure hunger at night time; ofcourse, the decaffeinated ones. Surprisingly, it works lol. Or try eating apples/oranges. They're very fulfilling.
