What Diet are you On?

Since I started my diet and feel bad bumping up the old thread I felt like I should make a new one. Are most of you doing Weight Watchers, Nutrasystem, or what diet are you on?

My 'diet' eating smaller proportions, drinking only green tea, and water. I have lost about 6lbs, but I really just need to tone. Not sure that an actual 'diet' would work for me. I love food.

I do agree with Jamie, however, I've been wanting to try the 17 day diet. I've heard lots of good things and know a few people that have had great results with it.

I've done Weight Watchers for a little over 2 years now. I lost about 81-82lbs and am just maintaining right now. I still keep a food log/diary and it forces me to watch what I eat, eat smaller portions, etc. What I really need to do now is exercise more so I can tone the extra skin. Not sure what I'll do over the winter but I need to force time starting next spring (while trying to work, finish my masters, take care of kids, lol )

I do not eat sensibly though.. I eat mostly organic good foods, but either too much of it, or eating too late

You rock Felicia! Thanks for sending me that diet, it's working so well for me! I've lost 13lbs AND all of my carb/sugar cravings are virtually gone. Now I just need to get off my butt and exercise

This seems to be my problem. I've been eating out of boredom lately. I have a major sweet tooth too.

^ when i find myself wanting to eat out of boredom i paint my nails, do some laundry, put on a face mask, vacuum, or just anything around the house to keep busy and try not to eat. but a little snack wont hurt either

It's such a hard habit to break! I'm not even sure how I got started on the late night snacking. I used to have absolutely no appetite once 8 or 9 rolled around. Now all I want to do is order midnight sushi!

Yay!! I'm soooo glad it is working for you!!! It really does work, you just have to be extremely disciplined!! I've never really been a sweets person so it didn't really bother me to give up the junk food. I'm now at week 13 and I'm not gonna lie..i'm still tempted by rice and potatoes. lol I've lost 35lbs so far though and I know I DON'T wanna go back to how I was so after spending all this money thats all the willpower I need. LOL

After going thru all this I've seriously contemplated becoming like a part time nutritionist. Once you learn the basics of the program and how to swap out "bad" foods for good foods its a piece of cake and I LOVE working with people.

You might want to try taking a vitamins in connection with the diet. They have me on a Woman's Multivitamin, Fish Oil,and Chromium Picolinate. To counter balance cutting alot out of your diet.

If you ABSOLUTELY have to snack at night then grab something like Sugar Free Jello or they sell some kinda jello in the stores.. I think it was called smart something... its only 10-15 calories a cup, an egg white (35 calories), or some celery sticks. Its really WHAT your snacking on that matters!

[QUOTE=Lovinya02;2244332]/QUOTE]

I found some amazing recipes. I'm a total french fry fiend. I made zucchini fries (delish), portabello mushroom parmeasan with chicken feta meatballs, my friend Tom got this recipe from his trainer for "Peanut butter Oattie's" they are basically pancakes but without flour and sugar! Awesome! they also have the consistency of REAL pancakes! Plus they are super high in protein and low in carbs. If you have any yummy recipes or want any of these let me know

ETA: Yes! I will definitely swing my costco today and get some vitamins!

I do believe the fact with Jamie, however, I've been seeking to try the 17 day diet plan. I've observed plenty of good stuff and know a few people that have had great outcomes with it.

I wish I go back to my raw food diet. It does miracles, but I was too lazy to continue it. You know how it is when "just one cake won't make a difference" ;) Then there's is second, and fifth. Gosh.

Diet plays an important role in fitness and weight loss process. It is good to eat low calorie food in diet. I prefer vege diet because vegetables are best food to eat. Vegetables are natural food that provide so any benefits.
