Mmmm, from what I've seen this is something of an "iffy" supplement. It's often marketed to bodybuilders to help with recovery.
Thing is...it's relatively expensive as far as supplements go. Cheapest I've seen it is about 9 cents a gram...which isn't prohibitively expensive, but that does mean that a 3 month supply is something like 50 bucks, if one takes the "recommended" 5 grams a day.
From what I've seen...results have been awfully inconsistent in studies of d-ribose. I personally wouldn't recommend this supplement.
