Cool. I'm so excited. I will officially begin on Monday. I can't track all of my points since the seller just shipped my materials today. I will post my meals and workout for that day so feel free to critque as needed. I am HIGHLY motivated this time around

I have quite a few pounds to lose. Let's just say my doctor wasn't happy with my weight and suggested that the extra weight has added to some of my health problems I'm trying to lose a total of 50 pounds and gain some muscle. I managed to gain 30 pounds over the past year from lack of exercising and just bad eating habits. Now I need to get back into shape because I failed my PT test, which was a big no no especially if I want to get promoted. Well enough about me. Let's start posting ladies

I'm not on WW, but I know several people who have done it in the past, with good results. Here's a site that has lots of good info on weight loss/WW, including a HUGE list of restaurants and point values for foods at them. Dotti's Weight Loss Zone

Hi All! I'm excited that so many of us are doing WW and we can encourage/motivate each other!

I started last week and was down .8 my first Weight In (WI) last Friday. I will WI tomorrow and see how it goes.

I'm hoping it's ok. I ate out more than I had planned, so I ended up using my Activity Points (AP's) which is something I don't usually do. But, tomorrow starts a new week!

I really need to boost my activity level. I want to try to do weights and cardio at least 3-4 times per week.

Oooh! Glad to see this

I am currently 6.5 months pregnant, but was a religious WWer for 3 full years before my first son, Spencer, was born. I'm planning on picking back up with it as soon as my Dr gives me the OK after boy #2 is born. I had Spencer 6+ weeks early so I never really gained allll that I probably would have had I gone full term. Right now I weigh only a few pounds shy of what I was when I delivered so I"m sure I'm going to have a much harder time losing the lbs. this time around!

I know WW works, but as always, motivation is the real problem I'm sure this thread will help in that area...well, that and wanting to be able to stuff my butt back into my 50+ pairs of jeans that I love so much

I'm on it right now. I have lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks. I dont go to the meetings or anything like that but my mom has done it since 1987 so I pretty much have the diet down. I have tons of good recipes and stuff and I definitely suggest getting the e-tools. Its a godsend.

I'm joining WW online today! I always had a problem going to the meetings because every person there was like 50-60+. They were always really nice, but after ever weigh in they would ask the members if they wanted to go to Friendly's for a celebratory ice cream sundae. That's when i realized i need to do it on my own. .

I weighed in this morning and was only one pound up from my pre-vacation weight. So let's get working!

So i was just tracking points online, and found that I probably don't eat enough.

My lunch: Turkey, Swiss Cheese, in a pita pocket, with some reduced fat Cheez-its is only 7 points! With breakfast i am only up to 10 points. This gives me too much wiggle room for Taco Bell dinner!

Down .4 at WI today. Not as much as I was hoping for, but certainly better than maintaining or gaining!

Going to the gym with DH later today. Planning on 30 min. cardio and possibly weights. I don't want to be sore for my volleyball tournament tomorrow, so I'm not sure if I should do weights or not.

Today so far:

B: Clif ZBar (2), Light String Cheese (1), Starbucks Skinny Vanilla Latte that DH brought me this morning (3)

I'm off of work today and it's always hard for me to get my fruits/veggies/water in on the weekends. I'll drink a ton of water at the gym, so that will help!

I hope everyones weigh-ins are going well! Usually mine happens before the weekend so I'm not too stressed about eating out.

Today i plan on cleaning and starting the 30-day shred. It's raining here in MA so I have no desire to leave the house.

How many of you are doing the online program, instead of going to meetings? Or just doing it without any tracking?

I'm just going to post random stuff that I eat and the point count in this thread. I love to see what others eat and what the point value is.

For bread you can use the Nature's own light wheat bread. Its only 1 point for 2 slices. I also like the Jimmy Dean pre-cooked bacon which is 2 pts for 4 slices and veggies are free so for lunch i eat a lot of 3 pt sandwiches.
Also I like to make pizza's with Flat Out Bread Light 1pt., pizza sauce 1/4 cup 1pt, a little bit of shredded light cheese is 2pts, and 7 pieces of canadian bacon pepperoni for 1 pt. It makes a really big pizza and its really filling. The Flat Out Bread can be found near the deli and I also use it to make grilled chicken wraps.

I don't go to meetings, I do it on my own. I have pretty much lived with it all my life so i know the point count for almost anything lol.
* My sister has lost 19 lbs since May*

I go to meetings. Started out at the WW at work program but they stopped it and I found a meeting near my house. I could do it on my own since I know the program pretty inside and out but I really enjoy the leader of our group.

Have you guys heard of the chocolate bran muffins? They're 1 point each.
If not the recipes really easy:
1 package of low fat brownie mix
2.5 cups warm water
3 cups all bran cereal.
1.5 tsp baking powder.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Put the water into the cereal and let it become mushy. Then mix everything together.
put into a pam'd up muffin tin.
This recipe makes 24 1 point choc muffins.

usually i'll eat this as breakfast. but i also turn it into a snack by heating up 2 of them and then putting some light whipped cream on top.
c'est yum.

That sounds good. I should try those to make for breakfast. I usually eat a 2 pt 100 calorie granola bar but that sounds way better.

I make the light flatout pizzas too! I usually use turkey pepperoni (12 slices = 1 point) and black olives. I have done it with a white sauce, grilled chicken, fresh tomatoes, and goat cheese as well.

For breakfast, I usually do Kashi GoLean (2/3 cup = 1 point) and a 1 point yogurt or some skim milk. I also have a piece of fruit at breakfast.

Another one of my favorites is Wasa Light Rye crackers spread with Laughing Cow Light cheese wedge. 3 crackers = 1 point and 2 wedges of cheese = 1.5 points. If pears are in season I will add sliced pairs for an additional point. Very decadent with the pears!

I'm doing online.

All of these ideas sound great! I need to find the time to make all this stuff. Haha.

I find that if i have certain things for breakfast, it totally throws off my entire day. Like yesterday i had a banana and a tablespoon of peanut butter, and i was starving till lunch. I need to find more filling foods. A few years ago I went on that Special-K diet, which basically just replaced breakfast and lunch with that, and lost around 25 pounds. I may try to integrate that in with some blueberries in the morning and a sandwich for lunch.

I start classes on Wednesday and will be bringing a second sandwich for dinner (night class 6-9), basically so i don't end up eating too late. I heard your not supposed to eat after like 7 or 8pm?

Discuss!

I try to eat more like the Europeans. Apparently I've heard that they eat their biggest meal at lunchtime (not sure if this is true, but what I've heard). For dinner they just have small things like snacks, fruits, cold cuts, etc. So I think its better to eat your bigger meals in the morning and afternoon - my personal opinion. that way through the day you're burning more off with your regular activity. If you eat at 9 pm then go right to bed you're not going to be burning any of that off.
Now thats how I see it in my own eyes but I'm not a professional or anything.

Hey all, I'm like Frisky and just do it, I've done WW online before and lost about 25 pounds, then gained it back and more from being lazy and totally pigging out

I started almost 2 weeks ago, I weigh myself on Tuesday mornings. I lost 4.2 pounds the first week and am hoping for another big loss this Tuesday, but we'll see

The first time I did WW I didn't work out, but now I am, doing about 35 minutes of cardio 3/4 times a week and some light weights on my lunch break. I am hoping to finally make this a good life change and lose about 40 pounds this time. I'm 5'7" and started at 176.2 two weeks ago that is the biggest I've ever been and I'm motivated to never get over 150 again...

Last time I did WW I started at 168 and went down to 142. This time around I'm trying what Kelly said above ^ larger items for breakfast and lunch then smaller for supper. I've always been such a big night eater and I need to get rid of that. But since I'm working out at lunch I need enough energy to do that so breakfast for me has become atleast 3 points if not usually 4. One egg and 2 slices of light toast is my "regular" breakfast.

Walmart has these brownies called "Snack Away" they are 1 point and by the bread aisle, those are a good snack.

I also love the 1 or 0 point progresso soups, they are a life saver if you ahve a huge breakfast and want to even it out

Glad to see so many of you here, I wish sucess for all of us

That's true, indeed. At least in Eastern Europe...
I'd love to pitch in and mention that eating small dinners = weight loss is only a myth. The overall calorie intake matters at the end of the day and not when and what you eat. Eating a big meal at dinner time will make you toss and turn while you sleep; I also found out that my clients are more likely to skip b-fast when they have a big dinner.

I got my materials in the mail yesterday and have been busy reading some of it. I plan to do WW on my own so hopefully this will go well. You might see me eating the same thing everyday but that's because I'm not so creative when it comes to meals and I don't like to cook that often

I'll post my official stats tomorrow when I weigh in and take measurements. The workout plan I'll be following is Chalean Extreme. This will be my semi second time around doing this workout. I completed 75 days of the program but decided to quit and start all over since my eating habits sucked during the workouts, thus causing me not to lose any inches or pounds. This time around I plan to stick it out and be good in the eating department Good luck to everyone and lets make some good and healthy changes for the long term
