Generally, "detox" products tend to be a little shady. Often times the "toxins" that they speak of aren't specifically named...nor is the process in which they are shed.

Here's the wikipedia article on it:

Body cleansing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'd recommend steering clear, and the same goes for any other supplement that touts itself as being a fat reducer...or any sort of weight loss pills. I've had experience with a few in the past, and they tend mostly caffeine (and a lot of hot air) packed into a little pill...ultimately amounting to nothing.

When I "cleanse" I just eat fruit and veggies, uncooked and only water for the day. I have no idea how healthy this is but I really feel good the next day.

^^ Nothing wrong with fruits and veggies...and if only done for one day, it's not gonna be too unhealthy. It's not something to do for an extended period of time, though...the body needs fats and proteins. Add some nuts...almonds, peanuts, etc, and possibly some tofu and you got yourself a very nice, clean vegetarian diet. I won't use the word "detox" though...for the reasons stated before ;).
