I totally agree. This drink is an expensive, convenient product that is great for those who do not care enough about themselves to go searching for individual ingredients etc.. It is what comes accross as a, 'quick fix'. Just drop $$$ and you'll be super healthy!? :/
I am having a tough time with my old trainer as she is a friend and she thinks this product is all i need to get over all my health problems and when i tell her that i take enough supplements/meds etc and that its best if i don't start doubling up on certain things she gets aggressive and claims i am avoiding a healthy opportunity and that i am being negative and resisting progress. Gah! She does not understand why i would not drink her, 'miracle' juice! :/ I am not the most assertive type so it's hard to argue with her and so i usually bite my tongue but its actually getting in the way of our friendship. She sells the product so i know that she believes in it and decided to join in on this MLM but its like she is convincing herself now! When i tell her its too expensive (which it bloody well is!) she says she cares enough about me that she'd buy it FOR me.. Problem is, i honestly have no interest in it because i was advised by my doc not to drink it. I tell her how much i appreciate her support and care and of course,. her offer, i just do not have the ability to add it into my daily regime. Trying to make her understand is quite the task! She is acting like a preacher
EDIT: I think the problem i have is that she trained me for a long time and truly helped me at my worst to regain strength and she had a lot of patience. I guess i feel like i owe her or something.. I know she only has good intentions..
