FARCO 87Q Fit Review

Okay.

Got my pair of 29w 87Q from Yoox today. When I tried them on I was pleasantly suprised. They do not fit as loose in the thigh from info I have gathered on the site. I only have one other pair of Farcos (85W) to compare this to. That being said, the waist seems to run more TTS than the 85W. Thighs are slightly looser, however NOT significantly. Also, the leg opening is slightly larger than the 85w, which is prob why the thigh is also a little larger as well.

Measurements below for reference:

Farco 87Q (29w) - BNWT

Waist - 15"
Rise - 9.5"
Thigh - 11.5"
Leg opening - 8.2"

Farco 85W (29w) - Worn twice, never washed.

Waist - 15.5"
Rise - 9.5"
Thigh - 11.2"
Leg opening - 8"

So, if you have bigger thighs sticking w/ your regular farco/zathan size maybe wise. Time shall tell how much they will stretch...

And, of course... Pics:

Hope this helps others in their 87Q quest!

Haha, thanks

I still have mad love for my Zathans.

I actually think straight cuts suit me better now though...

ohh, nice Chris! People kept saying that the Farco 81W ran really big.. but by those measurements it does not seem to be!

I guess it various from pair to pair. Advancedart said his 81W stretched a whole size, so you might be better off with a 28 if you ever decide to purchase a pair.

ahh... the art of getting the perfect pair of Diesels.

Factoring how much each fabric stretches, in addition to the variations of cuts and washes.

Sigh.

my 81ws were EXTREMELY tight... so tight in fact that I decided to sell them off.... I bought the same waist size as I did for the 85ws....

Wow, so your 85W was looser than the 81W in the same size?

You may like the 87Q ceb, there is more room in the thigh, but the waist is tighter. Also, you don't have to peel them off the like the 85W, haha.

my 87qs are on their way buddy ;) my 85ws fit perfectly though... so I might need to do some shrinking for the 87qs...

what's the actual inseam of your 87qs btw? I'm assuming you have a 32 inseam....

The actual inseam was 32" dead on just like my 85Ws (30 TTS)! They have just been dropped off at the tailors
