Help me verify that I won some fake Zathans on eBay. THX!

Basically I was foolish, I bid on some Diesels that I thought would be real based on user feedback, but check these pictures out:

Tag on bottom is from a known real pair of Zathans. Top tag the suspect Zathans.

Check out the PLEATHER "D" logo on the back (my zathans have a real leather "D" in this spot).

Just generally low quality throughout.

Auction I won:
eBay: Diesel Jeans ZATHAN 34x32 boot-cut (item 160098383859 end time Mar-25-07 16:49:45 PDT)
Auction that the jeans are originally from:
eBay: DIESEL Men's Jeans Zathan 89J Dirty Dream Bootcut 34x32 (item 170062874528 end time Dec-26-06 19:08:06 PST)

To me they are obviously fake. Can someone help me verify so I can hopefully get my money back? I already sent them back to the seller. I didn't want anything to do with them.

fake for sure. contact the seller and tell them this. Request a refund. If they refuse then you need to file a paypal dispute for not as described. Check out my paypal dispute sticky in the general discussion section for more details.

Thx guys, I knew they were fake as soon as I opened the box and I was so mad at myself for not being more careful. I just needed some other more experienced Diesel fanatics to verify. The seller they are originally from has 99.9% positive feedback and their actions say 100% authentic. I would love to get the seller shut down if possible. i bought a fake pair of 89J's from a different seller myself a while back... looked EXACTLY like those, tag and all. i've seen a TON of these exact same fakes listed on eBay.
