| | Thanaz is a definite tapered cut, and farco is more of a straight leg cut.
I tried on the Thanaz and the denim practically feels skin tight below the knees. When taking them off, you literally have to peel the jeans off.
Farco is much more relaxed below the knees.
I think anyone can pull off Farco, but for Thanaz you probably have to be pretty slim for it to look good. I look like a freakin inverted triangle when putting Thanaz on.(hence I had to pass on that awesome 71J wash) |

| | | I actually want to attempt to try on a pair of Thanaz, just for comedies sake.
I think I remember someone posting that Thanaz was like a zathan waist/rise and the legs were like tube socks. |

| | | lol at the carrot man idea.
Couldnt someone just get the thanaz in a long long lenght and have them altered to fit, that way they shouldnt be to skin tight below the knee. |

| | Yeah pretty ugly, they look like your carrot man on:
they're tapered and super slim, the farco are straight legged, and your legs can breathe easier in them lol.

| | | i definitely out the thanaz over the farco.the thanaz has a more tapered, skinny fit while the farco is cut straight.plus the thanaz has more intricate detailing and looks good for my IMO... |

| | | If you can wear farco, then you can pull of thanaz. The only difference in the two cuts really is below the knee on thanaz. |

| | | I tried on Thanaz in that wash -- it is loose and comfortable on top but insanely tight on the bottom -- it would be a major problem to sit down in those. The black wash might be a better idea because it contains just a tad of Lycra. If you can pull them off, I say go with Thanaz. I do love my Farco's, however; if there were a cool new wash, I think I would get another pair.
In the new collection, another cool option seems to be Onijo Special. It has a dark blue wash and a nicely tapered bottom, though not as extreme as Thanaz. I think it tops my wish list right now. |
