Diesel Micro-Stitching

Diesel micro-stitching is a easy way to spot authentic diesels.

What is micro-stitching? Just below the made in Italy marking on the inside indian head hang tag , there is silver hologram that reads diesel when viewed closely. It's hard to read with the naked eye but can view in detail with a magnigying glass. See picture

**Note** Some of the older Diesel jeans do not have this stitching, it only occurs on newer models.

yes this is true but may i point out another thing or two about checking for authentic's. notice above the indian head there should be some hard to read numbers usually beginning with 77 if your jeans do not contain this they are more than likely fake however some of the new 06 models do not have the numbers but do have microstitching also diesel are commonly made in italy however some are made in romania and also morocco so if your jeans are made somewhere apart from the countries listed above stay far away from them.... ;)

Not all of the newer diesels have that feature of the numbers. Only the all whiteones which are older. Starting with ss06 diesel has moved to a more greyish-colored tag which lacks that feature.
