How to remove store security tag???

I recieved in a lot of Diesel Jeans through Loehmanns overstock - does anyone know how to remove a security tab without making a big hole??? I don't have a Loehmanns close to have them remove. Thanks for any advise.

What do the tags look like? I've used a ton of things to remove security tags -- rubber bands, magnets, pliers, scissors, and knives.

Here's a picture of it - it has a silver 'snap' on the other side.

those are easy to take off. Just cut the plastic with a sharp pair of scissors or exacto knife ---- CAREFULLY! --- then you can just remove the inside parts that are holding it together.

there should be a hole in the sensor (thats how the stores take them off, when they put it in the remover machine it stabs something into that hole allowing the other part to come off) so i recommend sticking little cuticle scissors in there or a stick of some sort, just stick it in there and pull them apart.

Let us know which method worked 4 u, as I've been in the situation b4 whereby Express left a sensor on my dress, and tho I have at least 2 within a 30 mins drive, it was a pain to have to drive back to the store to have it removed...

those are the exact ones that we have in our store. It's just a really strong magnet, it's nearly impossible to yank off because the other side is either flat or curved. The device we have to remove it is some kind of demagnetizing thing that sort of ejects the silver pin (well just loosens it enough so we can remove it). Maybe you can play around with some straong magnets if you have any...but chances are they won't work.

There was once a lady who tried to steal our Puma jacket and she had a pair of pliers. She squeezed the puck (that's apparently what they're called) so hard it broke open and made a huge noise. I guess that's one way of getting it off....or there was another guy who just pulled on the black part so hard he ripped the silver pin through the fleece pants to the other side.

Good luck!

I ended up prying the plastic part apart with an exacto knife to remove all the plastic then cut the pin with my husbands wire snips. Only broke a nail - no blood or anything!

They came in a lot of jeans that I purchased through Loehmanns to stock my ebay store. So no, I guess I won't be modeling!
