Personally have never purchased a pair of diesels but I've changed my mind towards them.

How exactly do they fit compared to the other styles?

From what I know...they fit bigger like TR?

For example, if I wear 30 R&Rs and 28-29 TR (Depending on style), what would I be roughly in a pair of Diesel jeans?

Also...what is the difference between Zathan, and all those other styles?

I'm looking for something more along the lines of a lighter wash, or a really dark blue wash, no rips, and straight-leg, what style should I be looking for?

I'm thinking you'd wear a 28 or 29 in Diesel. I sized down one in Diesels from my R&R size and for TR I could wear the same size as Diesel but they were pretty loose.

Zathan is a regular slim fitting style, it's great for pretty much any regularly built guy that likes bootcuts. Zatiny is approximately the same fit as Zathan, but with a 1" smaller bootcut, and Viker is about the same fit as Zathan as well but with a straight leg. For looser cuts there's Koffha (bootcut), Zaf (flare), Quratt/Kuratt (straight). The only cut slimmer than Zathan that I've tried is Safado, which is a slim cut straight leg. It sounds like you would like Viker but Zatiny is worth checking out as well since the bootcut is so small that they're practically straight leg

I size one down for Diesel from R&R so I'm thinking 29 would do it for you.

As for cuts sounds like Zatiny (slim fit slight flare) or Viker (slim fit straight leg) is the way to go. I would not look at Zathan from what you've described (too much of a bootcut)...

For me it's
TR - 29
Diesel - Mostly 30
R&R - Mix of 30 & 31
Take from that what you will.

For me:
RnR---id have to do 36
Diesel- 34 in every cut
TR-34 billy, 33 joey for fitted 34--kinda loose..
SFAM-34 in most ive tried...

7FAM - 30/31
TR - 29

I wear a 28/29 in Diesel

For comparison, I wear 29/30 R&R, and 29/30 7FAM.

Diesel, Nudie , R&R, Levis, Lee, 7fam, Replay: 32"
TR: 31"
I'm very sure that Diesels are really true to size (and TR's generally 1 size bigger).
