outlet stamps have not been faked. if the items you were looking at had them, then they are definately real.

^^ agree with what mejumpmore said. Rumor has it that the scarf print has hit the Outlets, but only selected ones. I would call around and see if a store near you has it!

So far, the counterfeiters haven't figured out to imitate the Outlet stamp (also known as a "target" or "bullseye" stamp)
