anyone else a fan of artie lange from howard stern? i'm a big fan, i've seen him twice live and love him on the stern show. i'm really sad about this and i hope he gets through this somehow, because it would be a terrible loss..

I can find humor in the most ridiculous people but he is nothing short horrible.

anyway he's a person, he's in a lot of pain, and i feel sad for him.

I think it's terrible to hear of anyone in that sort of emotional pain My friend's mom walked in on her friend in a similar situation and it messed them all up. The lady lived, but she's certainly not ok.

i dont take the comments as personal attacks or anything. i listen to stern regularly, i read artie's book, ive seen his stand up, so u kinda feel like u know the guy. and it's like someone saying mean things about a friend. i shouldnt have set myself up for that by writing this on a 'celebrity gossip forum'. but i dont hate on anyone's opinions. its all good

I am a recovering alcoholic so I see people who are very wrapped up in the disease on a regular basis. It is a hard thing to get out of, but it is certainly not hopeless. Sounds like he just doesn't want to get better.

yeah he's been struggling with heroin addiction for a long time.. i have experience with addiction too and i can empathize with that pain, i mean, to stab yourself repeatedly? thats some real torment.. he doesnt seem to have a very good chance of surviving his disease, and its just a real shame.

I listened to Artie on the Howard Stern show for years - I think he is an amazingly talented guy. It's too bad he can't find anything worthwhile to live for... I hope he gets help, but if he doesn't want to help himself there isn't too much anyone can do for him...

I used to like the angry drunk midget Howard Stern had on the show. I know their supposed to be called little people but thats what he called him. I think he died of some kind of drug related issue.
