| | | I think she still looks good and skinny. I don't think weight means anything or even your size. It is all about how you carry your weight and what your body structure is like. My old roommate was really chunky. She had skinny legs but a HUGE belly. I saw that she wore a size 5 and was like no wow. I look better than her...I just think I am better proportioned. But I wear a 12 and am a coupke inches taller. So I think Tyra looks skinny still.....she looks beautiful! I wish the media wouldn't be so negative when people gain like 10 pounds.

| | Go Tyra! Go Tyra!  She is a wonderful person for being honest about her weight and no longer feeling pressured by media scrutiny. She lives by her own rules, and I really admire her for that. She's received enuf criticism before as a kid--being called Tweety, Lightbulb, and Sticks. Have u seen her b4 when she was a child...my gosh, she looks TONS better with some meat on her. My hubby has commented on her weight gain, but I told him, "so if I'm pregnant, you'll call me a whale?" Men can be really mean, but I think women are very critical, too--sometimes even more so. I think it's terrible how girls are feeling pressured to diet and look a certain way at REALLY young ages.

And for the record she isn't even fat!!! I was watching her show the other day and she may not be as thin as a rain but damit that woman has a really hot body!! |

My thoughts were (in seeing her "weight gain" in the past couple seasons of ANTM) was that "she got older, she quit modelling and decided that after 15 years of starving herself for modelling she was going to allow herself to eat and live like a normal person. Highly deserved imo. |

I don't usually watch stuff like this but the other day I was watching Fashion Police or something on the E! Channel and they were going through the Emmy red carpet dresses etc. and there were a couple instances where they said a particular woman was not THIN enough for the dress she was wearing! WHAT! I couldn't believe it. First of all, they WERE still thin but WTF? If you don't look like a stick figure you don't look good in a gown? Give me a break! |

Cinnamoroll to answer your question about why KROQ said she was a hypocrite: I guess they said its because she consistently tried to prove that she wasn't fat (?) I didn't really understand. I was kind of disgusted with the whole radio convo though. They said some really hurtful things about Tyra. I mean no matter how much you despise someone, you don't say that sh*t.. unless its about Paris Hilton then that's a whole diff story  jk..

I don't think it's hypocritical but this may be what they were thinking. |
