yeah.....she's toast.

she's appeared a little tipsy on several episodes of american idol too.

Wow! Was that interview in the morning as well? Atleast she's a trainwreck in underpants.

hey i think i saw on her true hollywood story that she has some kind of lingering injury, i think either neck or back, and is pain everyday. i think she could be just be on all kinds of pain meds. still shouldn't appear on tv in that state.

oh really? I never knew that. That can definitely explain her state, but you're right, she probably still shouldn't be making appearances like that.

i second that,she seems to get worse and worse every year.

That is really sad ~ she's slurring her speech and is completely unfocused.

I love too how the interviewers are laughing away too. They must know what is going on.

Thats plain sad, but yes , there have been episodes of Idol where she was slurring and speaking incoherently also. IMO she made a fool of herself.

I saw this yesterday. It was hilarious. I like the fact how the newcasters have to purposely ignore the fact that something is wrong with her.

I have seen several interviews where she is completely out of her mind on something. It is ridiculous imo. Watch her carefully on American Idol. The majority of the time you can tell she is wasted on something. I am surprised they don't get rid of her. She needs to seek help. She is getting more ridiculous with each passing year.

That was excruciating to watch. Ah well, if she's having fun, who cares?! If I had to do 15 hours straight of interview after interview, I'd get smashed too.

If she really does have a problem though, I hope she gets the care she needs.

I actually don't think she's had alcohol. She did say that she suffers from chronic pain or something relating to pain and she has to take meds for it.. I think it's the medication, not alcohol. Plus, I don't know any pharmaceutical pain relieving drugs that is okay to mix with alcohol.

I can relate.. One time I was going through something extremely painful and my doc prescribed me Percocet. Fuck, I would have taken them everyday if it were for final exams. Those pain relieving drugs make you feel all euphoric and high. I don't think Paula is in a position to back away from her publicity obligations, nor does she want to sit through 15 hour interviews in pain.

I agree with Annie ^^. It doesn't look to me like she's drunk... she looks like she's on drugs instead. She seems to answer all the questions but the way she answers them is what makes her seem incoherent.

Wow, I just watched that video. She was sniffing throughout the interview. I would just about bet she snorted a line or two, which explains why she was unable to sit still for a second. I think painkillers are the reason her speech is slurred, etc.

Coke + painkillers? It's quite possible since opiates make you drowsy while coke makes you very talkative and 'alive'. It would be a temporary solution to get through a few interviews without totally zonking out.

I just watched the second one (I saw the first one earlier). This is SAD! I am embarrassed for her. Complete disaster!!!

I think the 2nd interview was actually worse than the first. She may not be drunk, but she is definately on something.
