It's about the playability of her songs in clubs and bars, it's about her tits and ass (well ... it used to be ... now I suppose it's moreso about scandals surrounding what she does with her tits and ass), and it's about the shows. And there's nothing wrong with that: she has something to sell, so more power to her that she's out there doing it.
I just find it funny that people find these kinds of recordings earth-shattering. Britney does not go out on stage to sing--that is not what she's selling. So what do you expect? That she's going to put on her singing A-game to go out there and lip sync?!
If anything, I think the video proves that she could probably put on a decent song with dance show if she actually tried for it. She has some semblance of control over her voice even when she's hardly trying, and there is certainly a quality to it.
