Saw this last night, didn't want to, but I'm glad my SO dragged me there.
Very entertaining in the Steven Segal way (without being too unrealistic)

Holy Crap! This was soooooooo good! I had heard it was intense, and it was. Loved it, will definitely be buying when it comes out.

I know Mark Wahlberg doesn't exactly get nominated by the Academy, but he puts out some great entertaining flicks, and I thought that is what Hollywood was supposed to do.

I love Mark Whalberg! He was awesome in The Departed. I wanted to see this film but have not gone yet.

Mark Wahlburg received a best supporting actor nomination for his work in The Departed. Well deserved, I might add. I really liked shooter. I read the book that the movie was based on many years ago, and fell in love with this character. Granted, in the book, the character is older, and not as cute. ;-)

But I saw this last night and it is EXCELLENT! If you haven't seen it- rent it tonight! I was practically glued to the television. Mark Wahlberg did a fantastic job with his character and the plot/story line is very complex and intriguing.
