| | I kind of hated it. Aside from some of the language, I was wondering what gave it an R rating.

| | | I liked it ok. I LOVE Gerard Butler, so it was a no brainer for me. The Proposal was definitely better, but this movie had some really funny bits.

| | | I knew from the posters that this movie would be another perfect vehicle for Katherine Heigl to get massively paid for blithely participating in a sexist crapfest complete with the worst sort of tropes about men and women... and then bitch about it later.
I don't even need to see it to know that this kind of celulloid asshattery will
a) lack entertainment: too predictable
b) piss me off: to my sensibilities, gender stereotypes this tired are only funny as satire
c) make more money than it deserves.

Not even Gerard Butler could save this movie. |

| | | I do not like Katherine Heigl at all and I was really not looking forward to seeing this because, as pretty much everyone has said, it's so predictable.
But some scenes really cracked me up, like the vibrator one... I liked that. So even though I knew what the outcome would be, it was sort of (...not really) worth the $8.50 to see it. But at least I laughed.

I saw this in it...I guess. I thought that they went against the stereotypes in the end...IMO.
I must have seen it in a different light. I was pissed however that she bitched about it afterward. She does that a lot. I haven't read the whole interview though.

| | | I'd love to appreciate her for speaking her mind, as so many actresses have such bland personalities and interviews, but I can't respect her for continually biting the hand that feeds her. She's just another slave to the Almighty Paycheck, and I think that if she really feels so strongly about the roles she should just refuse them rather than trashing the project after the fact. It's terribly hypocritical.
