rachel getting married

i did a search for this movie and didn't find a thread in the "movie review" section. has anyone else seen this movie?? it is the movie that got anne hathaway nominated for many awards this year.

very slow at the beginning of the movie but gets really good once you get past the first 30 minutes or so. anne's acting in this film was very good imo and warranted her many award nominations.

i like the way the movie was shot as well. i believe the movie was filmed using all hand held cameras (nothing seemed to be on a crane or tripod). the way it was filmed was very "personal" and "real" if that makes any sense. almost like you were in the movie with them.

anyway, anyone else think this movie was good??

i saw this film in the theaters last fall.

i thought it was really well done. jonathan demme directs a great ensemble cast. the pacing of the film was fantastic.

anne hathaway was remarkable as kym.

I loved it!!! It was great to see what a great and versatile actor AH is. The dialogue and the way it was shot reminded me of Woody Allen movies.

Hmm...I watched it for about 15 minutes and got bored so I turned it off. Maybe I'll give it another go

I watched this movie last weekend because I heard it was good, and I hated it! If you found it boring in the beginning, don't bother to watch the rest. If you like dramatic movies and appreciate good acting (I am the first to admit that I don't really care about how deep a portrayal is) then you might like it.
