Birth control pill question...help!!

So I take my pill between 11 pm and midnight, every night. I've been working like a dog lately and have been getting sick, and I got home from doing a fashion show tonight and went to take my pill at about quarter to twelve. I looked at the pill pack and the pill I was supposed to take was Tuesday. I thought to myself, "shit, it's Wednesday, I forgot to take my pill last night," and I took Tuesday and Wednesday's pills together.
It's Tuesday.
I took today's and tomorrow's pill tonight. I know if you take a pill a day late you can double up, but taking it early? Did I totally screw my cycle? I feel like such a moron.

I think you'll be ok. I think it takes several mistakes a month to mess up your cycle.

Thanks! I guess I'll just not take my pill tomorrow night, which will be weird.

I think you should be ok. I think it's when you forget to take a pill for a few days, that's when you should worry. Be extra "careful" for a week.

yeah, just be careful, you shouldn't have messed up anything unless you make a few more uh-ohs.

You should be fine. Of course, there's no guarantee even when you take your pill regularly. You may start your period a day earlier than usual since you will be finishing early.

It could make you quite sick, no? Three seems a bit much of a hormone to take all at once.

very very sick. I was having hot flashes, sweating, and my body produced an odd odor. I think it has more to do with the fact I'm on a high hormone progesterone based birth control, it was that much stronger, it's the only one that I dont bleed a couple gallons everytime.

I don't want to offend anybody, this is only an idea, but maybe we could ask Pinchy to move this thread over to the health section? It seems like it would be a helpful topic over there.

Might be more appropriate, and maybe even a warning added to the title: Disgusting girl things being discussed. haha, poor boys. I just today explained the whole process to Erik and what it was made of, and how much it is, and all the gory details, ad he was a little disturbed to say the least.

Ohh I bet he was a little shocked lol. Well you can discuss it with us girls here bc it definitely doesn't gross me out!

If someone could move this over to health, us women(and men) would much appreciate it!

This makes more sense in the health section. Don't want to offend the boys!
I'm on Triquilar 21, the best pill I've been on so far.
I explained the whole process to my Chris, he was curious because he has no sisters. He nodded his head the whole time and when it was over, he was like, "Every month? No wonder girls get bitchy! I'd be bitchy too if I had to deal with that." Awww.

Ya, women go through a lot every month. I've never heard of your pill. What makes it the best one you've been on? I just started the Yasmin, I'm only on my 3rd month and it has some interesting side effects

I'm on levora, my doc recommended it after I had issues with ortho tri cyclen, and While on ortho lo, taking it every day at the same time I got pregnant, so low hormone pills dont work to well for me.

I love the levora, I actually have sex drive now, which completely disappeared with tri-cyclen.

Ortho lo made me feel awful, I've been on levlen 28, nuvaring, Mircette, OTC, Ortho Cyclen, Alesse, I can't remember any others. I also have horrible periods, Yasmin seems to be helping that though

^ You were on Nuvaring? How was it? Guessing it wasn't too great since you're not using it anymore. I was thinking of switching to that from the patch. I've become such an emotional basketcase on the patch.

Anyone try Marvelon?

The Depo shot saved me! I used to have terrible periods and ovarian cysts and it helped me soooo much. The only thing that sucks is that after i stop taking it for a little while i'll gain a little weight.

It pays to remember everyone's body is affected differently by each birth control, while it may take ages to find the right one, what works good for you may not work good for others, and vise versa, so dont be afraid to try the ring magnolia!

Oh the nuvaring was fine, it just made me breakout but I think my hormones are totally messed up from trying too many BC's. I would actually recommend the Nuvaring.
