Not-so-guilty Pleasures

Since there's a Guilty Pleasures thread running in the general discussion area (and lots of people are talking about their favorite foods), here's its counterpart for the Health & Fitness section!

I'll start...

- Dreyer's Slow-churned ice cream (90 calories, 3 grams fat in one 1/2 cup serving... and it tastes really good!)
- Luna bars (soo many vitamins/nutrients)
- Skim lattes
- egg-white omelets
- grilled salmon (can be cooked/spiced in many different ways.. I pretty much like them all)

Spicy chickpeas!

Rinse and drain a can of chickpeas and then put into a bowl. Stir in 2 tsp olive oil, 2 tsp of chilli powder, 1 1/2 tsp EACH oregano and cumin, 1/4 tsp salt and a few shakes of pepper. Make sure the chickpeas are all coated, and pour onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350F for 45 min or until slightly crunchy.

^^^^ Delicious! So good to snack on when you might otherwise eat chips or something.

i am addicted to anything mango. i also LOVE and often crave pine nuts, artichoke hearts and mushrooms. i go out with my gorgeous friend Bobbi and dance my little heart out - what a great way to get sweaty!

my snack of the moment is pretzel sticks - fat free goodness. mmm.

Cocoa Via. It's dark chocolate that is very low in carbs and fat and is really good for you. Lots of anti-oxidents. It's AWESOME!! They have a chocolate crisp bar that has soy crispies in it (kind of like a Crackle) and theres a chocolate soy crispy bar that's like a chocolate rice crispy treat. OMG is this stuff great. I'm all out, gotta go get some!! Just in case anyone is interested, I get mine at Wal-Mart in the diet isle.
