| | Since Feb 05 I've lost 87 lbs. I still have 20-30 to go to get to my goal. I have discovered that rewarding myself with premium denim keeps me motivated |

| | | how did you lose the weight Keri? i am basically starting at the weight you were last year and i have been at this weight for months. i like to see results, but it seems like after a week of working out/eating healthy i dont lose any more weight than if i had eaten what i wanted/not worked out so i get discouraged and dont think i am doing it right. |

| | | Jetta, I'm sure if my way was the healthiest. I ate egs fro breakfast, and salad the rest of the day. And worked out like crazy, drank only water, and monitored my calories. Every day I could have one "treat" which for me was a serving of reduced calorie something sweet, or 1/2 seving something salty. Or one half a can of soda. |

| | If anyone wants to lose healthy and fast, I can recommend "Eat to Live" by Fuhrman. You can find recipes here: http://www.vegsource.com/talk/eat2live/
It's hard in the beginning, but you can eat as much as you want.

| | This is a great way to keep track of calories/fat, etc. They have a huge database of different foods incl. restaurant/prepackaged food. I was keeping track before i started studying for finals, need to start keeping track again. http://sparkpeople.com/myspark/login...sparkstart.asp |

| | | I was around 200 when I was 18, now I'm almost 21 and I'm 153. I think I need to lose ~10lbs of fat, and gain ~15 of muscle mass. |

But seriously, I lost 17 lbs (from 130 to 113) in four months on weight watchers. It seriously does work and you can still eat the things you like in moderation. I went from a 29/28 to a 27/26 and I am soooo happy! I wish everyone who wants to lose weight the best of luck- you can do it! |

| | I like this idea. I'm trying to exercise and get more in shape/toned, maybe lose 5-8 pounds but that's not my main goal. Does anyone have any tips on workout and such - with the goal of trying to get rid of typical "flab" areas, i.e. under arms, tummy, hips, thighs? www.nutridiary.com and www.mypyramidtracker.com are also ways that I keep track of what I eat. |

| | | I think the best way to firm up the flab areas is.....jogging and jump rope. Really cardio is the best way to tighen up. Good job to everyone |

| | i am adding up my points for the first time today and i am realizing how many "points" i am consuming on a daily basis. all i've had to eat so far is a bowl of kashi go lean cereal, cheese quisidillas (made w/ olive oil), 9 tortilla chips and salsa, and a 100% all natural strawberry & watermelon carbonated juice and i am already 5 points over my daily total! i know it will be a challenge, but i think it will teach me to make 1/2 as much and drink water instead.
that restaurant website is very helpful...i cant believe the buffalo chicken wings w/ blue cheese dressing is 45.5 points just to think, my bf will eat that as an appetizer, then eat a huge meal on top of that & my leftovers. i really wish he would do the WW thing with me, but whenever i point out that he is eating 4 servings of something he starts going on about how it is b.s. that anyone could consider that small amount to be a serving.
congrats to the 17 pound loss kelly - hopefully i will get there soon! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
