| | | Sonoma diet? I did a search but could not find anything. Has anyone tried this? I just started yesterday and so far I like it. The food is really good but it takes a lot of time to make. I hope I can actually loose some weight on this.

| | | Best diet: cut out processed foods, lower sodium intake, cut out sugar and caffeine.
This is what all new research suggests. I'd stick to that and stay away from any kind of program. To back it up, check books by John Robbins, or Fuhrmann, and the likes- any newer book on nutrition. You'll loose a lot, and keep it away effortlessly.

| | | ^^The food is so good that I can not believe it is a "diet". I just need to figure out a way to cut down on prep time and it will be much easier.
I am glad to hear that someone on here knows some one who did this and actually lost weight. I like the fact that you do not have to give up carbs. You can even eat small amounts of pasta on this.

| | yeah, i had her explain it to me and it pretty much sounded like moderating the amount of sugar and carbs you take...and at what times you eat them. it's just a change in diet...not necessarily a diet. she complained about the prep time too, but no pain no gain....or loss in this case if you have one day less busy, you might try to prepare a lot of it and freezing it or tupperware-ing it. keep us posted.

| | | ^^I have been preping all day for the next week. It is not so bad I guess. You can even eat a few packaged frozen meals so that will help when I do not feel like cooking.

| | I took this from easydietreviews.com
"This particular diet plan is a state of mind and reflection of the eating habits enjoyed by the people who live on or near the Mediterranean Sea. The southern Europeans who follow this diet program enjoy a bounty of wholesome and delicious fresh foods , including vegetables, whole grains, nuts, lean meats, and wine." In-Depth Diet Review of Sonoma Diet - Lose Weight With the Sonoma Weight Loss Program
I think it is really worth it. The food is so good but if a person can not cook it would be hard to follow. I will post my weight loss after the first 10 days.
