| | | breast implants has anyone here ever gotten them? (u can pm me if u want instead of posting)
i'm getting mine done on tuesday (yay!) and now since it's so close i'm getting a lil nervous because i wont be taking any narcotic painkillers afterwards... instead i'lll be taking celebrex... most of the ppl i talked to said their pain wasn't too bad... but then they had painkillers too...
i have a salon/spa and also an 11 month old baby... i dont eally have a whole lot of help besides my 8 and 10 year old boys... i'm pretty much on my own. i'm wondering how long it's gonna take before i'm able to do things like pick my daughter up... drive...(i drive stick so i kinda have to always lean fwd to shift) and go back to work... the doctor really wasn't much help... he can say whatever but he never had them done on himself.. yanno?
i guess in a way i dont care.. i'm just excited to be able to get it done... but i dont wanna end up regretting it later... ^ i HAD to get one! |

| | Yay! I want to get mine done too! The bf doesn't want me to though
My aunt got hers done years and years back and she went water skiing two days after My friend got hers done a year ago and couldn't get out of bed for a week! She had to have people change her little pump and bathe her She had to take ALOT of painkillers. My cousin got hers done about 3 or 4 weeks ago and she stayed in bed for a couple of days also. I guess it just depends on how much pain you can take. I'd recomend having someone there to help you with the kids the first 2 or 3 days though. |

| | | I'm sorry, but I think breast implants are a fucking horrible idea. All the possible complications plus the fact that they have to be redone every 10 or whatever years just seems stupid. Best of luck to you, I hope you find what you're looking for and have the best results.

| | Girl, I'll GIVE you some of my boobs, I'm a large C cup/Small D cup, and want to go back down to a size large B cup/small C cup.
But best of luck, I've never known anyone personally who got them, and would never get them myself (I'm a pussy when it comes to painful things...my tattoo hurt like a bitch!) Good luck!

| | | Getting your boobs done can definitely be risky. I knew someone whose implant moved into her armpit. She had to get it redone. Implants have to be redone every 15 yrs, which can cost a lot of money. I heard that it hurts like a bitch when you get them done. My friend's ex got them and she couldn't even wipe herself. Good luck on your surgery tomorrow.

| | | lol me too
i was talking about if i possibley had to have them redone in say 10 years... instead of getting the actual implant replaced maybe i'd jut be able to get more added?
depending on why it would need to be replaced... i dont see how it could lose volume inside of my body... and the actual implant is guaranteed for life... i got insurance on them and should anything at all ever happen (which i pray it doesn't!) i'd be covered |

I have not had one complication with my BA, but couldn't pick up my son for 3 months. My mom would come over every AM and get him out of his crib. If he wanted me to hold him, I'd just sit down to do it. I had a lot of pain, but nothing worse than giving birth

Sorry to be a Bitch here.................. BUT Did You Do Any FREAKING Research On IMPLANTS At All?
You should not have this done. You have not prepared yourself.

| | Your dr. should have told you all these things!!
Each dr. is different, but I had to have care for 24 hrs at least, couldn't raise my arms up for 2 weeks - this means no driving for 2 weeks! I had to go to the salon to have my hair washed, then fiance washed it, too...Can't lift ANYTHING more than 2 lbs for about 2 months. You really need a LOT of help - I couldnt' even put on my seatbelt by myself b/c I would've had to lift my arms and pull!
It did hurt a lot (mine were under muscle) - my mom took care of me right at first, and even tho I was on Loratab, she said it looked to her like worse than childbirth!! Of course, she had 3 babies with no epidurals, so obviously she's pretty tough.
Good Luck! You might want to have some questions for your dr. tomorrow before you have surgery!!! You don't want to mess them up after all you'll go through!
On a happy note, I LOVE mine and am glad I got them it was worth it!

| | I think as long as you do your research, you'll be fine. My sister had them done a couple months ago and she has had no problems. But it is painful and you do need alot of help. I know my sister did with her 2 kids. Well good luck |

On a happy note, I LOVE mine and am glad I got them it was worth it! | oh he did... my doctor went over it a million times with me... but it's sooo much better hearing it from someone who actually had it done as opposed to the one who's doing it! but i've heard sooo many conflicting stories and i think it's just a matter of ur body and what it can or can not take..
i'm expecting not to be able to do much of anything for quite awhile!!! it breaks my heart that i wont be able to pick my daughter up tho but she can crawl up on my lap... and my truck is a stick and i have to reach to shift so i wont be driving much either!
i had 3 kids without epidurals or pain meds so hopefully this will be cake! either way i think it'll be worth it in the end... beauty is pain lol
thanks again eveyone!
and tigi i didnt think u were being a bitch... u just misunderstood what i said or actually... i just said it wrong
