| | | I think they look fan-fucking-tabulous!! I am glad to hear that you are feeling okay! I think they will go down a little bit--a lot of that pouf is swelling!!
Every body is different. Every body reacts differently to pregnancy and weight gain. American women are different from European women.
Blonde__gurrl has taken a lot of criticisms lately, from her eyebrows to her boobs and I think some of us should lay off on the condescending questions.
She wanted boobs and got them. Period. AND I THINK SHE LOOKS AWESOME!!

| | if u want it bad enough then it's not so bad ..... i feel really good for the most part but i'm only 36 hours into the recovery so i guess anything could still go wrong at this point...
it does cost a fortune too... mine were around $7400 and i had to have half down before they'd finance the rest.. if i didnt spend it on boobs i probabley just would've spent it on jeans
omg i couldnt imagine having that kinda pain on my face... god thats gotta hurt when u have to sneeze! i was choking on my iced tea.. like a dumbass i was drinking while i was laying down ... and i thought i was gonna die from coughing! god that hurt! |

| | | ^^Watch one on Dr. 90210 or some other plastic surgery show! They use a screwdriver looking thing and a hammer to break the nose and then reset it! It looks like pure torture!
I got hit in the nose with a baseball bat in 3rd grade (I was playing catcher) and I have never forgotten that pain.

I just felt the need to point out that it's the pregnancy that will change the breasts, not the breastfeeding. The boobs get stretched out just from being pregnant, I think it's so sad to hear that women won't breastfeed their babies just to save their boobies.

It is sad that many women don't breastfeed just to save their boobs, when that is what boobs are there for. |

| | | I think they look good for 36 hours. In a few days they wont look so red.
I got them 13 years ago and was in major pain. It was horrible and I took about 3 weeks off work. I am getting them replaced soon but not because there is anything wrong with them. I am just switching to silicone so they will feel more natural.
I can not believe they cost you so much. The doctor that I am going to only charges about $4000 and the silicone is only about $800 more. I guess that is the difference between PA and NC. Anyway they look awesome!

I mean they are not perky like when I was 16, but I don't think I stopped developing til my 20's. I do have alot of German in me. Maybe Jenn has hit on something.
Blonde gurl, I'm glad you came out of surgery ok. I have been following this thread since the beginning. I wish you a speedy recovery. You are far braver than I. I thought about breast reduction, but the pain and uncertainty kept me from that!
Have you been able to have much help with the kids? How's the pain med working out? |

If the two questions I asked the OP are "a lot of criticisms" for you lately, I think you're just having a very very sensitive period right now. This is so not like you.
By the way, you might want to ask who here has some European ancestors. You'd be surprised.

Yes, I don't want anyone to think bf'ing does that to your boobs, because it doesn't. Pregnancy ruins them I would have bf'd my son longer if he wanted. I believe in child led weaning to an extent, and one day I didn't offer it, and he didn't ask. I knew then he was ready.

| | | Wow now i feel left out...the closest i have come to cosmetic surgery is having braces on for 4 years after having 4 adult teeth removed (small mouth).
My mom had a nose job when she was 16 (which was a looong time ago) and she did pretty good, but she said she would get headaches afterwards. Another friend of mine had hers done for her 20th birthday and the one thing she said was that she could suddenly breath better (most likley had a deviated septum that was repaired in the proccess) and she wasn't used to all of the oxygen she was now getting.
I cannot believe that some women do not breast feed because they are worried it will cause their breasts to empy and sag though!

| | nicole-
mine are saline... the origional price was in the $4000 area but when i went in for my consultation and they fitted me the doctor determined that there would be no way he'd be able to put an implant in on top of the muscle because i was sooo small... so right there going under the muscle jacked the price up.... there were other placed that were cheaper but i liked my surgeon and the staff... i had one of those feelings... u know.. good luck to u when u go back and definitley let me know how it goes!! lulu-
Thanks i am also german... my grandparents from both sides came from there.. my last name (maiden name) is Fasnacht.. and my married name is Oberheim hehe u dont get more german than that! too bad my genes didnt kick in like urs and jenn's! oh and about the pain meds... i'm taking celebrex... and tylenol pm at night... the celebrex is working well... i definitley recomend it to anyone who would need pain relief without narcotics! gymangel
i hope ur feeling better! and i'm glad u got a good report from the doctor! i just got back from the doctor.. i had my bandages removed and got the go-ahead to get a shower and everything... omg... i didnt even get stitches! the incision was made right at the bottom edge of my nipple and they put a steri-strip on it to keep it closed s there wouldnt be any scarring.. thats so cool...
how long do u think it will take for u to recover completley? linds
dont feel left out! be glad u didnt have to get any work done!
i'm gonna be going for a shower in a lil bit... maybe i'll take another pic .. without bandages
oh almost forgot... i wanted to add my 2 cents to the whole breastfeeding/ sagging boobs thing
ash is right... it's the pregnancy not the breastfeeding that ruins them.. and it's not all women... dont ever let the thought of ruining ur boobs stop u from breastfeeding... i didnt bf my kids for other reasons... but i really regret not being able to... and i dont care how awesome my boobs were to start with... breastfeeding is so much more important and *u* along with ur baby will get so much more out of it
