| | | Everyone who did a detox.... I just did a couple days of juice fasting for a cleanse but ever since then my appetite has decreased and I do not crave junk food anymore. I used to HAVE to have chocolate like every night and now I only want it once a month. Food is less appealing to me and sometimes at dinner I'll just eat fruit because nothing sounds good, esp. meat. I've been eating a lot of rice.
Has anyone else experienced this after their fast/cleanse/detox??? |

| | That happened to me when I changed my diet. "Breaking the Food Seduction: The Hidden Reasons Behind Food Cravings---And 7 Steps to End Them Naturally" by Barnard explains why this is so.

| | | Chances are most of it is in your head, but that's not necessarily a bad thing if it's helping you eat healthier. |

AM:
16 oz prune juice with 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
then every 30 minutes alternate 8 oz. distilled water and juice (your choice of flavor, I did Apple Juice).
At noon one more tablespoon olive oil
at dinner time again with the olive oil
all this time alternating every 30 minutes with the water/juice.
For 3 days.
If you must eat it said to eat some of the fruit of your juice, so if you drink apple juice you can have an apple.
Do not plan on leaving the house, esp. the first day! |

I have terrible cravings... my chocolate craving would be like yours.. only I'd eat a LOTTTT of it during the day hahaha.
I want to not crave that stuff anymore too =( it's bad for me and my jeans |

| | I'm a very picky eater and I mean PICKY, think I could do this and substitue the prune juice with something else? Not including apple juice, grape juice, or orange juice. Told you I was picky! Think cranberry juice would work?

You can pick any of those other juices for your juice for the rest of the day, though, but you must do the prune in the AM only. Hold your nose and just suck it up! |

| | | I am scared of the answer to this, but , when you do the olive oil at lunch & dinner, are you doing it with prune juice, your juice choice, water, or worst yet, by itself.
I got my prune juice, but I forgot to get distilled water. Does it have to be the distilled water?
I have the next 4 days to do this. Thought it would be a good!
Thanks! |

| | I wouldn't do exercice...and surely not such a long run. Your body should be getting rid of toxins and all bad things and all the energy should be there... I had a nasty headache yesterday, but it's quite normal for me each time I stop sugars...
BTW, the 1st day you'll spend the most of your time on toilets I've planned a little walk but I don't feel like sport...

Thanks! | Well, for me the prune juice is just in the morning ...
For the lunch and dinner, I mixed the oil with the juice (apple for me), I'd be unable to eat it or to swallow it with water, even with juice it's beurk...

| | | Thank you Adrika for letting me know how you did it. I just don't know that I could have handled the Olive Oil by itself! If you have done this or are doing it now, how is it? I'm going to start tomorrow! |

| | Thanks Cherokee! I was wondering if I could do that. Just the thought of drinking a glass of apple juice w/ olive oil stirred in it makes me a little queezy! If I can just think of it as a shot with a chaser I might stand a chance with this!
Thanks for posting this detox, this will be my 1st one! |
