| | | Try Aveeno lotion. there is one that is specifically for itchyness and rashes. I had poison ivy this summer on my shins and forearms and it worked wonders!

| | I totally get you..The Benedrayl was only taken as a last resort late at night and it did not work (as expected) but it did knock me out and kept me asleep so i would not wake up itching..which was kinda why i didnt mind trying it! |

| | | I use a coal tar solution with phenol and sulfur in an alcohol gel base.
It's cortisone free and stops the itch fast. It smells nasty though. It's called EgoPsoryl TA.
Antihistamines work, but they take too long. Sometimes it's hard to control the itch, so the coal tar gel is a real godsend.
Other than that just keep your skin moisturized with bath oils- anything with colloidal oatmeal is good, and moisturize frequently. |
