| | | Well, 3 days overdue now, and still no baby! Yesterday I briskly walked on a treadmill for almost 3 miles, and today I walked 2 more miles, plus did the equivelant of walking up 125 flights of stairs on another machine! Something better happen after all that! |

I took off my old nail polish this morning that was chipped and faded....probably over a month old too! I was either going to paint them myself or make the hubby do it this evening! I do need him to give me a foot and ankle massage anyway.....  |

| | I had her on Monday....finally! I was laying in bed at 6:00 A.M. while my husband was getting ready for work, and I was having contractions....I didn't think I was in labor though because I had a perfect night of sleep! As soon as he went out the door, they started to get stronger. I had to go to the bathroom, so I got up to pee and right before I got my pants off, my water broke! Luckily, hubby only works 10 minutes away, so he was home soon after I called! I ate a light breakfast, took a shower, dropped Rory off with my neighbor, and we got to the hospital at 9:00. I was already dialated to a 6 and having the most painful back labor an hour later. I asked for an epidural because I thought I would be good to go after I got it. When I was in labor with Rory, I had one and was pain-free and asleep 30 minutes later. Well, this time it didn't work....doctor said it was probably due to the car wreck I was in last year because my back is so out of place now. Anyway, they ended up giving me something in the spine, and it lasted about 20 minutes! It sucks because whenever I had a contraction, the only pain I could feel was in my lower back....it feels like a combination of knives and an intense amount of preassure in that spot. The nurse kept asking me if I felt like I needed to push and I told him no because everything I felt was in my back. Luckily he checked me and I was then at a 10, and so he called my doctor up and she was out in 3 pushes and I was pain-free!
That's my labor in a nutshell....lol. She was 20.5 inches long and 7 pounds 13.8 ounces, born at 1:55 P.M. We were released 24 hours after she was born because we were both doing really well! I'm so glad to be home, and my hubby is off work until December 1st! Yeah!     |

Sorry about the epidural & pain meds not working.  I know about that back labor 5x. And it is very painful but she was worth it.
What did you name her? If you don't mind me asking.
