Ender series by Orson Scott Card

Okay, so I can't believe there's no thread on Ender's Game or any of Orson Scott Card's books yet, so I made this thread for those who appreciate his books. This book is a sci-fi classic for all the right reasons, and challenges one to view the hierarchy of the human species from a different point of view. I love how he integrates a lot of different topics into his books, especially technology, genetics, evolution, psychology, and etc. And the parallel series for Bean is awesome as well, with more emphasis on politics and warfare.

Anyone else a fan? I'm still waiting for the movie to be finalized and such... imdb lists it for 2008, but I dunno... it's getting derailed so much.

I love this series. I first read Ender's game in high school. Some of the later books in the series got a little convoluted for me though. The initial book is a classic though and the follow on books while good simply cannot meet the power that the first book conveys

I'm a fan of the Ender Series

Definitely a memorable book. I read it years ago in high school even though I first heard about it in junior high. I avoided reading it in junior high because it seemed like a stereotypical sci fi novel. I decided to pick it up in high school just for the heck of it because I was curious what the hype was about. It exceeded my expectations lol.
