| | | Yesterday I finished True Women by Janice Woods Windle. It's a great book based upon a lot of history and such, but with a fiction story line.

| | I just finished reading "Modoc" by Ralph Helfer. It's a true story about "the greatest elephant that ever lived". I can get pretty mushy over animal stories but when I was done reading this book, I tell you, I have never sobbed so hard in my life!!! Even though it made me cry, still highly recommend it! |

| | Oh, wait! My Aunt wrote a book. It's called "The Horses of Proud Spirit" by Melanie Sue Bowles. True stories about horses she has rescued. Some stories are a bit sad but VERY inspiring and she's a GREAT writer. www.horsesofproudspirit.com |

btw- wicked and confessions weren't too different...although I must say, I liked confessions a little better. But if you really didn't like Wicked, you won't like Confessions any better I'm afraid.

Not sure if it was that or his writing style or a combination. If I have a friend (or the library) to borrow the book from I still might do it.

lord of the flies was really good, but really creepy and oh man I cried (when the first character died).
Next up for English is MacBeth, I'm really looking forward to it.
and I'm trying to find some prose for my speech competition next week and I am pretty sure I found it in Not Tonight, Honey, Wait Until I'm a Size 6 by Susan Reindart. (sp?)
