I don't even go into the bookstore anymore, I can't go in without picking something up - it was getting very expensive! I only use the library now, plus my mom & SIL both read like crazy, so I can always scavenge a book or 2...

i rarely go because of the same reason. i refuse to buy a book from a b&m store when i can get them online so much cheaper. i was tempted yesterday though! i go to the library for all my audio books. i have to listen to them on the way to work because the morning dj's make me want to kill myself.

I used to be married to a morning dj - believe me when I say, I wanted to kill myself too!

I agree! I stay away from bookstores beacuse I could spend all I have on them. Even going to Costco can be dangerous!

MY nose has been buried in the latest Laurel K. Hamilton book. I actually splurged and bought the hardback on sale. My hubby is out of town and I don't have anything fighting for my attention except the laundry.

I would die, if it weren't for paperback exchange stores. There aren't too many good ones around her though, not like Portland.

I stopped reading anything that a 1st grader can't read. Wait, a second grader can't read.

Are you referring to Powell's? =) That place is my mecca. Seriously, if I were a religious woman, I'd pray toward Powell's five times a day...what would that religion be called?
