American Gods

so...

I just finished this book. It was 'eh' in my opinion. I mean, there were some neat parts, and I enjoy Gaiman's writing style, but the subject matter just never gelled with me.

Anyone else?

I love Neil Gaiman. I've read every one of his books and I enjoy reading his works because he seems to dabble in various genres. My personal faves are Neverwhere followed by Stardust. To be honest though, I thought American Gods and Anansi Boys were a disappointment. I love The Sandman graphic novel series so much and I wish he would return to doing that, but I guess it's a tough act to follow. I would be thrilled if he would do a series on Neverwhere because there are so many loose ends and so much possibility with that.
