I just finished reading this book over the weekend
The relationship between Henry and Clare...I admired it. It made me wonder if true love can survive marriage irl. I'm not trying to be a cynic but I haven't met one couple that's been married for 20+ years and are still madly in love.
The book went at a non-boring pace and I loved most the interactions/meetings between Henry and Clare. The format of the book where it switches from Henry and Clare's perspective written in first person was engaging and made me care for them more. I did cry at a scene near the end...it wasn't bawling but I got teary-eyed (was in public and I don't tend to all-out-cry easily lol).
I don't regret reading this book
Now onto the movie; I will try seeing it this month
Eric Bana was hot in Black Hawk Down
