The Five People You Meet in Heaven-Mitch Albom

I have been dying to read this book forever, and I finally just gave in and bought it. It's a pretty short read, a short 200 pages, but it is just fabulous. It kept my attention hooked (easily) and really you teaches you a ton about life and making the most of it. It although reinforced (for me anyway) the 'no regrets' philosophy. I think everybody will take away SOMETHING from this book. It is just so good, I love it and can't wait to have time to read it again! I liked it so much I bought his One More Day and am reading it right now!

I agree, a very light read, but deep and full of meaning. I enjoyed it too. But at times it was kinda depressing. Old people dying makes me sad.

I second the "no regrets" message--I enjoyed both this and One More Day, which I read soon after my own mother passed away. Albom can really touch the heart, and I love the way he keeps you guessing, with how the five people he meets relate to each other and to him. A very moving experience.
